Hackney Thinking Spaces seeks to provide a safe and therapeutic space where Black and Global Majority community residents can openly discuss and process awareness of the lasting effects of systemic racism, and the impact on mental health, emotional well-being, and sense of belonging.

Wellness Warriors (Women 18+)
Wellness Warriors is a supportive and empowering group for Black and Global Majority (BGM) women aged 18 and over, creating a safe space to explore lived experiences, identity, and wellbeing. Through open discussion, shared learning, and creative activities, participants are encouraged to reflect, heal, and grow together. The group focuses on building peer-supported networks while developing positive, actionable ideas that contribute to meaningful change within the Hackney community. Wellness Warriors also aims to nurture sustainable safe spaces led by and for BGM women.

Uplift (Boys 12–19)
Uplift is a dynamic and engaging group for BGM boys aged 12–19, designed to provide a safe and supportive environment to explore emotions, identity, and lived experiences. The group encourages open conversations around topics such as masculinity, peer pressure, racism, and future aspirations. Through interactive activities, mentoring, and group discussions, young people are supported to build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships, empowering them to make informed choices and feel uplifted within themselves and their community.
Youth Voices (Girls & Boys 12–19)
Youth Voices is an inclusive group for young people aged 12–19, offering a platform for both girls and boys to express themselves, share their experiences, and be heard. The group explores themes such as identity, social challenges, community issues, and the lived experiences of Black and Global Majority young people. Through creative expression, discussion, and collaborative projects, participants are supported to develop confidence, strengthen their voices, and contribute to positive change in Hackney. The group encourages young people to turn their ideas into meaningful action that reflects their perspectives and aspirations.
